CHURCH-WIDE UPDATE AS OF MAY 2025
Church Family,
As we transition from one season into another, we want to extend an invitation—one that calls us to dream together, to reflect, and to look ahead with hope and expectation. Seasons of change can be tender, but they also bring fresh opportunities to reimagine who we are and how God is calling us to move forward. We have the sacred opportunity to relaunch our church with a new vision, a renewed mission, and even a new name. As we step into the summer months, we want to invite each of you into a new rhythm as a church family—one that will help us become rooted, refreshed, and ready for the next chapter. Beginning in June, we’ll intentionally focus on four key rhythms:
Rest – creating space for sabbath, reflection, and renewal
Invite – cultivating community by inviting others into the life of the church
Equip – investing in discipleship and leadership development
Prepare – making room spiritually and practically for all that’s ahead
These rhythms will carry us through this summer and beyond, as we prepare to relaunch Grace Emmanuel Church as Abide Church in the Fall of 2025.
Let us walk forward together with unity, humility, and faith—believing that God, who has been faithful in every season, will continue to lead us as we become a church that abides in His presence and bears lasting fruit.
